A way to earn money online is to blog, as this is easy to do and can reach a huge audience far and wide. Writing articles can be used to advertise, promote or inform people about certain topics of interest. Basically, it's web pages jam packed with all the journalistic compositions and discussions about different agendas. A combination of having an on-line diary and publishing your own content, the role of blogging has become vital to cyber society. 

Blogs are updated on a regular basis and are arranged chronologically considering the first subject being the newest and also depending on the time and date that the article is written. Categories are organised by alphabetical order or depending on what are used as tags. Archives to commentaries, to blogrolls down to the feeds and much more information are the basics to know.

Content

Typically, a blog’s content would greatly depend on the topic it’s dealing with, be it sport or current events in the news. If you’re promoting or selling something, perfume, apparel, or a vintage automobile, you could feature catalogs of the products mentioned. You can also write personal blogs consisting of daily happenings in the world, observations of something funny or sad, comments about another’s comment on websites.

Education facilities and museums can put posts containing write-ups regarding their historical background, what they provide to the public and any useful relevant information that is needed. Blogs should be updated daily to give readers reasons to keep coming back for more and of course depending on topic, that this subject is outdated or not used anymore. Blogging can be a fuss if you don’t how the process works and also understanding the vocabulary. What in the world does RRS, URL, blogroll, and all that jargon mean? How can I use it? For greater understanding, here are some terms and definitions of some of the tools usually used in blogging and the concepts that go with it. 

Below are the basic words arranged in alphabetical order. Some words were not included for the reason that it’s totally irrelevant to you and might cause confusion. I’ve just listed the frequently asked terms.

👉Archives – records of important documents or files preserved, which are not deleted and kept secured.

👉Blogrolls – a categorised list of networks to different web pages, which includes websites that you like, your friends blog or more blogs that you have created.

👉Comment Spam – irrelevant comments posted on a web page containing to one or more domains, which are bots or people trying to spam rubbish.

👉Downloads – a verb pertaining to the pictures, audios, or videos streamed from the author’s device memory, either through your computer or somewhere on the internet.

👉Excerpt – summarised ideas of the post usually having a part of the entire article, which is more like a snippet of what the article contains.

👉Feeds – part of another’s site supplying the material for one site

👉Guests – are the readers, viewers, spammers, etc., who visits your site and are your target audience.

👉Hosts – web sites willing to accommodate your registration as a blogger, which includes blogspot and other blogging sites. 

👉Introduction – preliminary part of the blog page showing the personal profile of the author or a brief description of the subject

👉Links – a tie up with a series of sections in the web suitable for navigation from one site to another; also known as a “permalink” or “hyperlink”

👉Plugins – combined term for plug-ins, these are characters or scripts adding additional function to the site, like adding a way to accept donations through cryptocurrencies.

And that’s it for the basics of blogging. All primary words detailed above embody the blogging community. Easy access to the blog doesn’t mean easy manipulation. It must have certain concepts and tools to make blogging possible. The posts are one thing, how to capture the attention of your audience and readers is the objective.
