When we search for books in the store or online, we see the cover with the title and the name of writer printed on both the front and the side. Article marketing is the same but these details are placed at the bottom of the content, which is known as the resource box. This includes the writers name, profession they hold and of course the website that they have created.
The resource box can be reffered to as "the author's bio" or can also be called a "sig", which is short for signature. You need to include certain details, so that it is professional, trustworthy and have high creditability. First you need to put your name or a pen name, so that the reader knows who wrote the content. Here is an example of what I might write as a bio, but remember to put it at the bottom:
You will also need what is known as a call to action which is much shorter than the elevator pitch. It could be something like. "Looking to earn money online?"... visit https://www.mysite.com." However, I would recommend to hyperlink your website address, like the example above, or make it shorter by using a shorten URL service such as bitly.
Also in your resource box, include the article subscription address so that readers can get fresh articles and information about new products or services that you are selling. Your contact information can be included in the resource box, if you are selling physical products, as this will allow people to contact you by phone if they want to ask about your services since you won’t be in front of the computer 24/7.
Keep in mind, do not put a list of previous websites which you have created in the past because this information may not be relevant to the article you have written, for example you have created three websites but two of them are on different topics. The resource box is not a resume but merely a short introduction of who you are, do not mention every accomplishment you have ever done because no one cares and it is not relevant.
When publishing your article, make sure your advertisments are applicable or related to your topic otherwise don’t post any at all, meaning having ads for losing weight on an article about fishing seems confusing. Don’t make the resource box too big because what you want the readers to focus on is what you published, you should only occupy between 10 to 20% of the webpage.
Article marketing needs to be a win-win agreement because you contribute articles which reach out to a specific audience in the hopes that people will be able to visit the site without any cost to you. So in order for you to reach a larger audience and gain more traffic, it is best to post your articles in different sites.
