Bloggers, Businesses and website owners create an audience, so that they can gain visitors, and earn money through advertisements and selling products, for which they can also use affiliate marketing. However, gaining visitors requires a lot of work, whereas getting views is simple but not efficient if you want to earn a living or a decent wage. I will be providing advice on how to gain more visitors and will tell you some simple methods to gain views.
Visitors Methods
The first method of getting a lot of visitors is to make sure that your SEO(search engine optimisation) is strong as possible. This means that your site needs to have a proper domain name and that the tags meet the criteria of the articles, for example if someone is looking for advice on a boxers diet and exercise regime, a good domain name would be "www.boxers-lifestyle.com" and have a few tags that meet the category, which could be boxing, exercise, health, six pack, fit and self-defence.
The next method would be to promote your website on social media platforms, this would include popular networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, Tumbler, Youtube and maybe even Snapchat. You can promote and get free advertisements, as long as you have a lot of followers, as this will get visitors from around the world.
Using forums and joining online groups is another way to gain visitors, as long as you do not spam your links, which is a way to build a network and using word of mouth will hopefully get you lots of visitors. This will be a long term method, as it will take a few months to build a huge audience, but for a short term way would be to get lots of views.
Views Methods
Getting views is simple enough, as in another of my blogs I gotten over 10,000 views within a month, which is all because of traffic exchanges. A traffic exchange is a site where people can view other peoples sites that they promote, this can either be a blog, affiliate program, selling products/services in a store or anything that is connected to a site. However, each traffic exchange has rules that people must follow and you can't promote adult content on these sites.
There are lots of traffic exchange sites, but must warn people do not use auto-surf exchanges, if trying to monetise your site, as google and other search engines sees these as bots or not views, so I recommend to put your site on manual traffic exchanges. I will provide tips on how to use views correctly, starting with a rotator.
A rotator is where you can put a lot of sites/links in just 1 link to promote on the exchange and you can set certain values, which can be if you want the site to be viewed more than any other. Here are a few free/upgradeable rotators that you can try and experiment with:
TPMRotator: can set up a lot of rotators, can set a lot of sites ($5 monthly, $40 yearly or $77 for a pro upgrade which states the benefits and what they can do for you). No adult/illegal content.
1linkurl: Only can have 1 link, but can add multiple sites to promote, can't add sites that are adult themed and illegal.
360urlz: free members only 1 rotator url link, can track stats and have lots of marketing tools, upgrade options (1/3/6/12 months or a lifetime upgrade) and can pay for upgrade with Paypal or coinpayments, $89.95 for lifetime upgrade.
Free options on rotators have advertisements, but it is your choice as free rotators still work for promoting, but you will benefit in the long term by being upgraded. There are lots of rotator and traffic exchanges site out on the internet, for which in the next few articles I will be explaining in detail the sites I use and how they will benefit you as well.
