Article marketing is a very cost efficient method of getting people to visit your website in the hopes that they will buy or share with others, your products or services. In fact, there are many sites where you can post your content and this is how things work. Keep in mind that most websites have already published what topics they are looking for, meaning you have to do research before submitting your article, as your content might not be relevant for their site.
Most submission websites set out rules and guidelines as to the kind of articles that can be submitted, as today they will not accept mature and R rated content because their audience could include under age teenagers. The guidelines may include a maximum number of words, that the article is unique and not copied from someone else’s work, must have proper English grammar and so forth.
Some sites that you submit your articles to may reserve the right to edit your content while others don’t, for which I personally would be annoyed because they have changed it. I would stay away from sites that have the right to edit it because its your own work and it would be a shame to have it changed.
You don’t get paid for any of the articles you post on their website because article marketing is a free form of advertising and exposure, however the owner of the submission website can put advertisements on your articles and they get paid, while you only get the attention of the readers. The only positive thing from submitting articles is that people will know about you and the product or services, you are selling as you have a resource box at the bottom of the page which users can click the link after reading the article, taking them directly to your website. This includes your name, website address, contact number and email.
If the content you wrote is no longer relevant, the owner may remove the article, so there is room for other writers to post their own articles. You should review your content regularly so you can add new information to keep up to date and not get removed. To publish your article, you will be required to sign up and become a member of the submission site. Do not worry as this is free and just creating an account with them.
For writers who are just starting out, you may only be allowed to submit 10 articles at first because you have to build a reputation and create a rapport with the site. Your articles will then be reviewed by a panel of writers to check if the articles’ unique because if it is not they will not publish your content. It may take a few days to review your work, but no longer than a week. You will be notified by email if your work has been accepted, however if you have not heard anything back within a week, send the website an email to follow up with the status of the pending article.
If you can submit 10 articles and want to provide more content, you have to express your intent to do so and once getting approval, you will be able to send as many as you want as long as you continue to follow the guidelines that are set. The focus on this is to create more traffic to your site, so you may not get paid for your content, as it is about advertising your products to clients and providing them with useful information and of course amking sales.
