Weight Loss Tips Guidance

During lockdown people have lost their routines and motivation of either getting in shape or eating healthy, as most of us have probably ordered a lot of takeaways and not used the gym as it was closed for social distancing measures. Well now with rules easing on the 19th, all of us will have to get back on track and to lose weight. When we hear the term or phrase "Weight Loss" we immediately think of crazy diets and lots of cardio, but we completely miss the physiological side of losing weight. Now we will look at the other forms of weight loss and clear any myths concerning carbohydrates, fasting and dieting.

By the end of this article you will have a better understanding of your body and how to reverse engineer your mind into losing weight. When we start our lives, weight loss is the furthest thing from your mind. There are several hundred million obese people in the world. Keep in mind that the easy way to lose weight is to know your body. There is no quick fix or easy fix, let alone surgery that will make the fat melt away. When you do begin to take action remember there are plenty of steps you can take to develop a healthier relationship with food, curb emotional triggers to overeating, and gain healthy weight or to get your target weight. With that said, the best ways to lose weight fast is discussed somewhat scientifically and a proven method is, to give the average beginner a fighting chance to lose and keep it off.

Cutting calories/Count calories

Experts believe that to successfully manage your weight, comes down to a simple equation: If you eat fewer calories than you burn, you lose weight. Men and Women have a set guideline of how many calories to consume, depending on the type of activities they are doing like weight lifting or intense sports. The best solution is to count your calories, if you can, and then record them on a piece of paper with your daily activities of exercise and movement.

Some people like to join clubs, to get motivated, like slimming world as they focus on a point system which is similar to counting calories. The objective is to decrease the intake of foods containing high levels of calories. What you put in your body must be equal or proportional to how many calories you burn in a day. Of course, we cannot go lower than what we need to survive because the body will go into survival mode and try to store the fat, causing you to not lose the weight.

Normally Men need 2500 calories and Women need 2000 calories to maintain a healthy body weight, however it can be quite easy to go over these amounts depending on factors of height, metabolism and how active you are. The best way is to get advice from a professional and work out your needs and what you can do to change your lifestyle.

Intermittent fasting

There are two methods that you can try, to fit in your busy schedule and at the same time will require little to no effort from you. They are the 5:2 diet and the 16/8 method, which help to keep your calories in check without restricting your food consumption. You fast two out of every seven days on the 5:2 method. This type of fasting is suited for people with a hectic lifestyle, as it gauges when you should eat, compared to what you can eat. I would consider it the best option for people who change their routine quite often.

The 16/8 method basically requires you to fast for 16 hours and eat only during an eight hour window. In the end, it is believed this method will reset your relationship with food to a much healthier perspective as you will build the discipline to only eat during your designated window and helps with your metabolism.
